Agenda

Batteries play an integral role in virtually all aspects of life. From e-vehicles to cellphones and hearing aids.

The European Council for Automotive R&D EUCAR of the major European passenger car and commercial vehicles manufacturers has released a EUCAR Hazard level table describing and classifying the outcome of safety tests for Lithium-ion battery cells.

These hazard levels drove the development of BINDER test chambers for aging, performance and stress studies, including charging and discharging protocols. Temperature and climate chambers with multiple safety features are introduced and demonstrated, process-related products shown and the most common standards addressed. Don’t miss our video clip “What a blast” featuring the new LIT MK test chamber.

Webinar Key Topics:

  • See what happens to a cell at EUCAR hazard level 6
  • Discover the safety features of a BINDER LIT MK and watch them work
  • Learn which roles other BINDER chambers play in battery testing
  • See how standard chambers adapt to aging, performance or stress tests
