Description

Phthaloyl chloride is used for the preparation of volatile acid chlorides from the acids. It acts as a trapping agent for the nitrite ion in the fluorodenitration of aromatic substrates with potassium fluoride. It serves as an additive in polymers and fibers to improve the color stability. It is used as an ingredient in ceramic mold binders, as a stabilizer for polymers and in reverse osmosis membranes.

Applications
Le chlorure de phtaloyle est utilisé pour la préparation de chlorures d’acides volatils à partir des acides. Il agit comme agent de piégeage de l’ion nitrite dans la fluorodénitration de substrats aromatiques avec du fluorure de potassium. Il sert d’additif dans les polymères et les fibres pour améliorer la stabilité de la couleur. Il est utilisé comme ingrédient dans les liants de moules céramiques, comme stabilisant pour les polymères et dans les membranes d’osmose inverse.

Remarques
Sensible à l’humidité. Gardez le récipient hermétiquement fermé dans un endroit sec et bien ventilé. Incompatible avec l’eau, les alcools, les agents oxydants et les bases fortes.
