Description

Allylchlorodimethylsilane is used in the synthesis of cyclo-1,1?,4,4?-bis(1,1,3,3-tetramethyl-1,3-disiloxanediyl)dibenzene, silylating agent for steroids for analysis by GC-MS. Also used in the preparation of phenylenebis(silanediyl triflates), useful synthons for organosilicon polymers, O-silylation of phenyl sulfones.

Applications
L’allylchlorodiméthylsilane est utilisé dans la synthèse du cyclo-1,1′,4,4′-bis(1,1,3,3--tétraméthyl-1,3-disiloxanediyl)dibenzène, agent de silyation des stéroïdes pour analyse par GC-MS. Également utilisé dans la préparation des triflates de phénylènebis(triflates de silanediyle), synthons utiles pour les polymères organosilicés, O-silylation des phénylsulfones.

Solubilité
Soluble dans la plupart des solvants organiques ; réagit avec les alcools, les amines et l’eau.

Remarques
Sensible à l’humidité. Conserver à l’écart des agents oxydants forts, des bases fortes, de l’eau / de l’humidité.
