Description
4'-Methylacetophenone is used as a flavoring agent. It reacts with morpholine to get 4-(p-tolyl-thioacetyl)-morpholine in the presence of sulfur as a reagent. Further, it is used as an intermediate in the manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients, perfumes and cosmetics.

ApplicationsLe 4′-méthylacétophénone est utilisé comme aromatisant. Il réagit avec la morpholine pour obtenir la morpholine 4-(p-tolyl-thioacétyl) en présence de soufre comme réactif. De plus, il est utilisé comme intermédiaire dans la fabrication d’ingrédients pharmaceutiques actifs, de parfums et de cosmétiques.
