Description
3-Methyl-2-benzothiazolinone hydrazone hydrochloride hydrate is used in the synthesis of benzothiazolium azo dyes. It is a chromogenic reagent used for the determination of cholesterol, benzodiazepines and enzyme activity. As an electrophilic coupling reagent, it is used in the spectrophotometric determination of chloramine-B (CAB) and other residual chlorine content in various environmental water samples.

ApplicationsLe 3-Méthyl-2-benzothiazolinone hydrochlorure d’hydrazone hydrate est utilisé dans la synthèse des colorants azoïques de benzothiazolium. Il s’agit d’un réactif chromogène utilisé pour la détermination du cholestérol, des benzodiazépines et de l’activité enzymatique. En tant que réactif de couplage électrophile, il est utilisé dans la détermination spectrophotométrique de la chloramine-B (CAB) et d’autres teneurs en chlore résiduel dans divers échantillons d’eau environnementaux.
Solubilité
Soluble dans l’eau, le diméthylsulfoxyde et le méthanol.
