3,5-Dichloro-2-hydroxybenzenesulfonyl chloride is used in the synthesis of (1R,2R)-(+)-1,2-(3,3?,5,5?-tetrachloro-2,2?-dihydroxydibenzenesulfonamido)-1,2-diphenylethane1 and (1R,2R)-(+)- 1,2-(3,3?,5,5?-tetrachloro-2,2?-dihydroxydibenzenesulfonamido)cyclohexane. It was used as chromogenic system in one-step kinetic method for the determination of 5?-nucleotidase.

Applications
Le chlorure de 3,5-dichloro-2-hydroxybenzènesulfonyl est utilisé dans la synthèse de (1R,2R)-(+)-1,2-(3,3′,,5,5′-tétrachloro-2,2′-dihydroxydibenzènesulfonamido)-1,2-diphényléthane1 et (1R,,2R)-(+)-1,2-(3,3′,,5,5′-tétrachloro-2,2′-dihydroxydibenzènesulfonamido)cyclohexane. Il a été utilisé comme système chromogène dans une méthode cinétique en une étape pour la détermination de la 5′-nucléotidase.

Solubilité
Il s’hydrolyse dans l’eau.
