Description
2-Iodophenol is used in the synthesis of aryl 2-benzofuranyl and aryl 2-indolyl carbinols of high enantiomeric purity and 3,3-disubstituted-2,3-dihydrobenzofurans. Coupling with phenylacetylene in the presence of a Pd complex and CuI gives 2-phenylbenzofuran in good yield.

ApplicationsLe 2-iodophénol est utilisé dans la synthèse du 2-benzofuranyle d’aryle et du 2-indolyl carbinol d’aryle de pureté énantiomérique élevée et de 3,3-disubstitués-2,3-dihydrobenzofuranes. Le couplage avec le phénylacétylène en présence d’un complexe Pd et de CuI donne du 2-phénylbenzofurane avec un bon rendement.
Solubilité
Soluble dans l’eau.
Remarques
Conserver le récipient bien fermé. Stocker dans des conditions fraîches et sèches et dans des récipients bien scellés. Il est sensible à la lumière. Incompatible avec les agents oxydants.
