Description
1,6-Diaminohexane is mainly used as a monomer to make nylon 6-6. Its derivative hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) is used in the production of polyurethane. It acts as a cross-linking agent in epoxy resins. Other applications include coatings, lubricants and water treatment products.

ApplicationsLe 1,6-diaminohexane est principalement utilisé comme monomère pour fabriquer du nylon 6-6. Son dérivé hexaméthylène diisocyanate (HDI) est utilisé dans la production de polyuréthane. Solubilité
Soluble dans l’eau. Légèrement soluble dans l’éther, l’alcool et le benzène.
Remarques
Sensible à l’air et hygroscopique. Gardez le récipient hermétiquement fermé dans un endroit sec et bien ventilé. Incompatible avec les acides, les agents oxydants forts, les chlorures acides, le dioxyde de carbone et les anhydrides acides.
