Description
Sorbitan monolaurate is a detergent and monoester of lauric acid and hexitol anhydrides derived from sorbitol. It is used in a study to assess enhanced solubility and oral bioavailability of itraconazole. It is also used in a study to investigate the oxidation of unsaturated lipids in oil-in-water emulsions.

ApplicationsLe monolaurate de sorbitan est un détergent et un monoester d’anhydrides d’acide laurique et d’hexitol dérivés du sorbitol. Il est utilisé dans une étude pour évaluer la solubilité accrue et la biodisponibilité orale de l’itraconazole. Il est également utilisé dans une étude pour étudier l’oxydation des lipides non saturés dans les émulsions d’huile dans l’eau.
Solubilité
Soluble dans 2-éthoxyéthanol, éthanol et méthanol. Non miscible ou difficile à mélanger dans l’eau.
Remarques
Stockez-le dans un endroit frais. Garder le récipient bien fermé dans un endroit sec et bien ventilé. Incompatible avec les agents oxydants forts.
