Description
Tri-n-hexylamine is used as an extractant during isolation and purification of succinic acid from an escherichia coli fermentation broth in pharmaceutical industry. It is also used as an internal standard in screening of human hair specimens for designer drugs by ion mobility spectrometry. Further, it is involved in the synthesis of zinc oxide nanorods. In addition to this, it is used in the preparation of infrared luminescence nanohybrid films.

La tri-n-hexylamine est utilisée comme agent extractible lors de l’isolement et de la purification de l’acide succinique à partir d’un bouillon de fermentation d’Escherichia coli dans l’industrie pharmaceutique. Elle est également utilisée comme norme interne pour le balayage d’échantillons de cheveux humains pour les médicaments de conception par spectrométrie de mobilité ionique. De plus, elle est impliquée dans la synthèse des nanorodes d’oxyde de zinc. Elle est par ailleurs utilisée dans la préparation de films nanohybrides à luminescence infrarouge.
