Super acid catalyst Nafion™ NR50 is a perfluorinated ion-exchange membrane which has a wide variety of commercial uses. It is an acidic hydrogen ion form and superacid catalysts useful in a wide variety of synthetic applications. It finds application as a catalyst in alkylation and acylation reactions. It is also used in the production of sensors.

This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand.
