Description
N-Ethylethylenediamine is a chelating agent used in mutagenesis research studies. It undergoes condensation with 2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde. It also forms organometallic ruthenium(II) complexes that inhibit the growth in human ovarian cancer cell lines.

ApplicationsLa N-éthyléthylènediamine est un agent chélateur utilisé dans les études de recherche sur la mutagénèse. Il subit une condensation avec le 2-hydroxy-3-méthoxybenzaldéhyde. Il forme également des complexes organométalliques du ruthénium(II) qui inhibent la croissance des lignées cellulaires humaines du cancer de l’ovaire.
