Description
The BD Vacutainer™ system is a closed system optimally designed for controlling pre-analytical variability throughout the specimen collection and handling process. The DIFF-SAFE™ blood dispenser prepares blood slides from a blood collection tube without removing the stopper from the tube.- Features a non-sterile cannula that inserts easily through the rubber stopper of a blood collection tube
- Invert the tube and press the dispenser against a slide to dispense a drop to prepare a blood smear
- Compatible with BD Vacutainer™ tubes with Hemogard™ closures
- Limits exposure to blood samples, which may contain bloodborn pathogens
- Keeps closure in place to prevent spills, leaks and contamination of samples
