Description
Ammonium iron(III) sulfate dodecahydrate is used in dyeing and printing textiles, as analytical lab reagent. It is often employed as an analytical standard, and has been used in a variety of other applications from nanomaterials to general redox reactions. It plays an important role for the inactivation of mycobacteriophage D29 bacteria which is vivale for viable mycobacterium smegmatis and m.tuberculosis. The crystalline ammonium ferrous sulfate has shown useful function as the high absorbed dose and low-temperature dosimeter.
