Description

The Arthrobacter sp. is able to grow with (+ I-,(-)-1-phenylethanol or the racemic mixture as sole source of carbon. Growth is most rapid with the (-)-isomer, doubling time 12 h. Lipases show good activity and, in some cases, improved enantioselectivity when employed in pure ionic liquids for dynamic kinetic resolution of 1-phenylethanol by transesterification.

Applications
L’Arthrobacter sp. est capable de croître avec le (+ I-,(-)-1-phényléthanol ou le mélange racémique comme seule source de carbone. La croissance est plus rapide avec l’isomère (-), doublant le temps de 12 h. Les lipases montrent une bonne activité et, dans certains cas, une énantiosélectivité améliorée lorsqu’elles sont utilisées dans des liquides ioniques purs pour une résolution cinétique dynamique de 1-phényléthanol par transestérification.

Solubilité
Insoluble dans l’eau.

Stockez-le dans un endroit frais. Garder le récipient bien fermé dans un endroit sec et bien ventilé. Conserver à l’écart des agents oxydants forts, et des acides.
