Using Search Filters

When you are on search and browse pages, you can narrow down your results by brand or category. Simply select appropriate refinements to the left of the results under 'Narrow Results'. This is available on all search result pages.

From certain top-level browse pages, you will have the option to first drill down by category or brand. Once you’ve drilled down to a more specific category, the 'Narrow Results' option then becomes available. The most effective way of using our search, is to narrow down by category first.

Several different filters are offered under 'Narrow Results'. They include category, special offers, special interests (under special interests you will find our Fisher Scientific Edge filter), and brands. This allows you to quickly narrow down your search results to those products with the very best service levels. Depending on the product category, other filters may appear such as capacity, material, and more.
